A flat walk on some good surface. The walk is pretty exposed to both the sun and the wind. This is a good winter walk. The road along the river is very scenic.

This walk starts from Linwood Tesco. Linwood has undergone a renovation in recent years and has become a lot prettier. The Linwood Tesco area is really good. The Tesco shop also offers some good soft drinks too. There is also a Gregg's here and some other shops.
From Linwood Tesco, follow Bridge Street down to the crossroads 300 yards/300 meters from Linwood Tesco. Take Moss Road to the right and follow that around a long left bend. This road becomes a gravel road through the forest before it ends up on a tarmac road.




Take the road to the left, the Auchans Road. This road is really funny with a couple of short, steep hills. It also follows River Gryffe for some meters and the scenery here, 360-degree round view, is great. Follow this small road past a farm to the end of the road at Clippens Road/Craig Road.






There are a small incline here which takes the walk up to a housing estate. Some good pavements can also be found here. The road ends at Clippens Road. Take the road to the left again. The bus stop are 100 yards/100 meters down the road.
